Your wedding rehearsal is more than a quick run-through— it sets the tone for your big day. It’s your chance to ensure everyone knows their role, the timing feels right, and any last-minute questions are answered. At The Barn at Lone Eagle Landing we want this step to be stree-free, organized, and even fun!
Here are our top tips for preparing for your wedding rehearsal at The Barn:
1. Confirm the Details Early
Double-check your rehearsal date and time with our team as soon as possible. Typically, rehearsals take place the day before your wedding, especially if you’ve booked the weekend wedding package, but scheduling can vary depending on other events. Confirm the time that works for you, your wedding party, and your officiant.
2. Create a Wedding Party Line-Up
Before you arrive, decide the order of your processional and recessional. Knowing who walks with whom (and in what order) saves time and avoids confusion. Don’t forget to include flower girls, ring bearers, and parents or grandparents.

This is just a guideline and there are other ways of ordering your Processional. Your officiant may also have specific preferences for order and timing, so check with them before finalizing.
3. Bring the Right People
Who should be at your rehearsal?
Wedding party members (bridesmaids and groomsmen)
Parents and Grandparents (if they’ll be part of the ceremony)
Officiant (or someone who can stand in if they can’t attend)
Anyone with a ceremony role (readings, special music performers, etc.)
Your DJ (if they are available to run the mics and music)
Pro Tip: Encourage everyone who plays a role in the ceremony to attend. However, if every single person is not in attendance, don’t sweat it! Travel plans, work conflicts, and more can prevent some from attending the day before the wedding. Enough people know when to walk and where to stand. It will all work out!
4. Pack Ceremony Essentials
While you don’t need your wedding dress or tux just yet, it’s smart to bring:
A copy of your ceremony script
Any vows you’ve written (you don’t have to read them in their entirety during the rehearsal if you would like to keep this part a surprise!)
Ceremony music list, especially if the rehearsal is not included in your DJ’s package.
Programs if you have them.
